All three Kithwell programmes follow the same design principles: start with what families actually need, keep the structure light enough that people want to attend, and make sure something concrete comes out of every session. Each programme has gone through at least two revision cycles based on feedback from the people who participated in it.
Listen First
Programme content starts from the questions and challenges families bring, not from a predetermined curriculum we work backwards into.
Design for Use
Materials, templates, and session formats are all designed to be usable the same week — not filed and forgotten.
Revise Regularly
After each cycle, participant responses are read and the programme is adjusted. What stays, changes, and what's added is tracked openly.
Community Support Groups
Facilitated peer groups where families share experiences in a supportive, judgement-free space. Sessions run in small groups of six to ten people and are facilitated rather than instructed — meaning the conversation stays with the group, not with a presenter at the front of a room.

General educational sessions covering routines, communication, and everyday family organisation. The content is drawn from a range of publicly available frameworks, and it is presented without advocacy for one particular approach. Families take what is useful and adapt it to their own situation.
